Knotless braids start with your own hair at the root. Braiding hair is then fed in a little at a time, so there is no knot at the base. That gives a flat, natural-looking start with less pull on your scalp and edges than traditional box braids, and the braids lie flat and move freely from the first day.

Most clients keep knotless braids in for about 4 to 8 weeks. Wrap your hair in a satin scarf or bonnet at night and keep your scalp moisturised to keep them neat for longer.
